Sometimes we want to use a horizontal rule to divide text.

Sometimes when you’re writing a paragraph you may want to make a word, or even a few words in small font.

This is a standard paragraph of text. This text is bold the text over here is italic. Sometimes I go totally nuts and decide to strike out change what I wanted to say. That’s a pretty cool thing to do, because when you leave something you have del deleted inside your text people can have a chuckle at your wit or stupidity.

H2: Blockquotes, quotes, and codes are cool.

Sometimes when you’re writing you want to say something with a:

blockquote, like this. This time we need to write something a little longer in the blockquote to truly test (cited) its effectiveness. It doesn’t always work the way it should but we need to know how the site will be effected by blockquote settings.

It’s a great way to define a block of text in a unique way. It’s not the same as a quote or code tag but that’s a good thing. It means you can set up your style sheet to treat each tag differently.

H3: This is the way we do it, baby!

So, are you seeing how each of these features (cited) look different on the page? There are LOTS of things you can do to make things look different on the page. You can even change colors with a span tag inside your post or page.

Sometimes you want to adjust the size of your font to a fixed font which is what the

tags are for. Unfortunately, these are usually block elements which prevents them working to alter size within a paragraph.

You know, making things longer so I can test the image repeat down the page. You see, I want it to expand down the page as I like but it’s not being particularly cooperative at the moment.
